We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sandwich Maker to join our team.
As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling delicious sandwiches for our customers.
This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders - Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency - Slice, chop, and prepare ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables, and condiments - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment - Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers - Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling additional menu items - Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures - Assist with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies as needed Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately - Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for growth within our organization.
